The Jenkins Residence is sited at the edge of a scenic salt water marsh on a working farm in the Southpoint area of Worchester County, Maryland.  The homeowners requested a simply stated, steel and glass structure, reflecting their keen interest in minimalist design.  The home’s principal living and dining spaces are contained within a dramatic, double-height atrium.  Two adjoining master bedroom suites and a studio/library complete the home’s accommodations.  

The studio/library, which provides ample space for the homeowner’s grand piano and collection of books, features tranquil views of the surrounding groves and waterfront.  Above, a roof deck offers a spectacular 270 degree vista of Ayers Creek and adjoining salt marshes and serves as both quiet outdoor retreat and an ideal setting for entertaining guests.
