Raleigh, North Carolina The North Carolina League of Municipalities is an association of county and municipal governments that supports and promotes their collective interests in the state. Their headquarters in downtown Raleigh is a three story, 30,000 square foot building designed to accommodate the league’s administrative and conferencing needs. The building is conceived as a simple, masonry-clad block, designed to reflect its surrounding context of pragmatically rendered warehouses and institutional structures. Parking for the building is positioned to the rear of the site, below the upper three office floors of the building. A contrasting, white metal clad projection, splayed outward from the masonry façade, marks the building’s entry and lends it a unique sense of stature and identity.
